Insaan means human. Cadet means one still becoming. Put together, it is the whole idea of this brand: nobody is finished, and the things you wear can say so.
What Drop 001 is
Drop 001 is our first collection — canvas sneakers, graphic tees, hoodies, and a few pieces that did not fit neatly anywhere. Every design is treated the same way: the artwork covers the surface edge to edge instead of sitting on a chest pocket or a heel tab. A shoe is a canvas that happens to be walkable. We would rather use all of it.
Made to order, on purpose
Nothing we sell exists until you order it. Apparel is produced in 2 to 5 business days, shoes in 5 to 7, and then your order ships. That is slower than a warehouse, and it is the point — no overproduction, no pallets of unsold stock, nothing made that no one asked for. If a piece arrives damaged or misprinted, we replace it free.
The crane
Our emblem is an origami crane: a folded thing learning to fly. Somewhere on every pair of InsaanCadet sneakers there is a small hidden insaan signature worked into the artwork. Most people never find it. The ones who do tend to be our favorite people.
Where this goes
Drops will stay small and deliberate. We currently ship within the United States, with international coming. If you want first look at new drops, the email list at the bottom of the page is the only place we announce them early.
